Alianta annouced its 2015 Gala in Washington D.C.

“In just a few short years, what started as a conversation about how to raise Romania’s profile in the U.S. has grown into a nationwide effort to celebrate the Romanian-American partnership. It is with full appreciation of our growing momentum that we announce the 2015 Alianta Gala and declare our intention to double the impact the Gala will have on the key decision-makers in our Nation’s capital.

Last year, thanks to the support of many supporters like yourself, the 2014 Alianta Gala hosted a historic meeting of over a hundred Romanian and American leaders of the Romanian-American partnership. In doing so we demonstrated to key decision-makers in Washington, D.C. the strength and history of the bond between the two nations. The Alianta Gala is a chance to bring together those in America whose work in business, science, the arts, social programs, and security exemplify the bond between America and Romania. It is a unique opportunity to gather the leaders of our community for an elegant evening to celebrate and reward its members’ successes.

This year, after an initial outpouring of support, we have decided to double the impact of the Alianta Gala by double the strength of our numbers. Our 2015 Alianta Gala will be held on October 7th, at the Organization of American States in Washington, DC. (A Save the Date notice will follow next week).  We are honored to announce the growing list of supporters across America who have either joined Alianta’s Advisory Board or the Gala Committee, and our first three Alianta Gala Awardees.
